EXPERIENCE

After so many years of experience as a therapist, I know that therapy is not a set of techniques, but an art. I continue to refine this art, through consistent practice and ongoing professional development.

I have been in private practice in Neutral Bay, Sydney for the last twelve years. Prior experience includes almost three years as a psychotherapist at South Pacific Private, one of Sydney's leading treatment centres for addictions, depression and food issues. Earlier work experiences included running my own practice in Scotland as a Shiatsu Therapist and Macrobiotic Cook and Counsellor, and working from the Findhorn Foundation. I also trained and worked for the Scottish Council on Alcohol as a Voluntary Counsellor.

10 years as a consultant to Slimming & Health magazine
Published articles in Slimming & Health, Wellbeing Magazine, Psychotherapy In Australia
A resource for journalists - frequently quoted in Sunday Telegraph, New Idea, Women’s Weekly.

I have spoken widely on the subject of self care to a variety of groups and organisations both  in Australia and the UK.
